Army Public School, Udhampur is proud to announce that its student, Gaurav Kumar, has set a new world record in badminton. Gaurav, born on September 15, 2007, achieved the record for the maximum number of bounces of a shuttlecock on a badminton racket in 30 minutes (male) on August 18, 2025. Gaurav successfully performed 1,257 bounces, earning him a place in the Worldwide Book of Records. The certificate, numbered WBR-12409, was issued on August 26, 2025. Principal APS Udhampur Dr. Sanjeev Kumar congratulated Gaurav on his remarkable achievement, saying that Gaurav's dedication and passion for badminton have brought pride to our school. We are thrilled to see our students excel in sports and look forward to many more achievements. The school community applauds Gaurav's incredible feat, and his achievement serves as an inspiration to his peers.
