Army Public School Udhampur

19 May,2025: Army Public School, Udhampur organized Investiture Ceremony marking the formation of a new senate. To scale the heights and reach the pinnacle of success, the school always strives to inculcate a sense of commitment and responsibility among the students with their heads held high as the future leaders. The investiture ceremony was held with such a motto to invest the students with a sense of responsibility and duty. The ceremony started with the pinning up of badges on students’ shoulders by Principal APS Udhampur Dr. Sanjeev kumar, followed by Oath taking ceremony where they pledged to carry out duties assigned to them with sincerity and efficiency. The school Auditorium buzzed with enthusiasm and pride. Master Satyam Kumar Sharma and Myra Mahajan led the student council as the chosen head boy and head girl respectively. All of them affirmed their missions and pledged to keep the flag of the school flying high. Alongwith them, other members of the council were also chosen which includes Discipline, Cultural, Literary, Sports, Assembly Captains and the House Captains of the four houses namely Beas,Chenab, Ravi and Jhelum House, in both the boys and girls category. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Principal APS Udhampur congratulated the senate members and said that the student council body of the School represents values of righteousness, responsibility, integrity and leadership.They are a rare combination of valour, humility, and competence. He further added that each student is unique and sky is the limit for them. With a potential to lead and a willingness to be on the right track, all of them will be the nation builders for the future.
