In memory of Maj.Dhayan Chand , National Sports day was celebrated in APS UDHAMPUR with great pomp and show. It started with an Exhibition of hockey match played between two teams which was presided over by SSP Udhampur, Dr Vinod Sharma along with DYSSO Udhampur Mr Swarn Singh and Principal APS, Mr Sanjeev Kumar and Vice Principal Ms Reena Sharma. Prizes were given away by the chief guest to the winning team and Runner up team by the Chief Guest. Later the school also conducted Volley ball and Basketball matches for boys and girls followers by cricket match for boys and tug of war for girls. The Principal Mr Sanjeev Kumar encouraged students to participate in such sports activities to lead a healthy and balanced life.
