APS UDHAMPUR REIGNS SUPREME IN NORTHERN COMMAND INTER APS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT.

Army Public School, Udhampur etched its name in glory as it emerged Champion of the prestigious Northern Command (Cluster A) Inter APS Football Tournament. The tournament, held at APS Udhampur on June 5-6, 2025, witnessed a spectacular display of football skills and sportsmanship from six participating Army Public Schools. Under the expert guidance of Team Coach Ankush Bandral, the Football team of APS Udhampur showcased exceptional teamwork, strategy, and skill, dominating the tournament from the outset. The team's impressive performance in the semi-finals, where they thrashed APS Srinagar 5-1, set the stage for their ultimate triumph. In the thrilling final match, APS Udhampur faced off against APS Rakhmuthi, emerging victorious with a 2-0 win. This well-deserved victory is a testament to the team's hard work, dedication, and Coach Bandral's leadership. Saksham Sharma, the team's star player, was adjudged the Best Player of the tournament, a fitting recognition of his outstanding skills and contributions to the team's success.The tournament concluded on a high note as Lt Col Surendra S presented the trophies and medals to both the winning and runner-up teams. The ceremony ended with the rendition of the National anthem, filling the hearts of all present with patriotism and pride. Principal APS Udhampur Dr. Sanjeev kumar also expressed his pride and admiration for the team's achievement, saying that this victory is a reflection of the school's commitment to excellence in sports and academics.
